Worked as part of the Environment Team for the Port of London Authority (PLA), the UK’s largest port, responsible for managing and executing the completion of two extensive guidance documents associated with the PLA’s published strategies on subjects including air quality and climate adaption for the Director of Planning and Environment. Represented the PLA and its interests in public meetings, consultation workshops and events with partners from external organisations concerning London’s air quality and climate change strategies.Provided technical and scientific advice on the scope, screening and collection of data used for environmental assessments of third-party statutory applications to ensure they were in accordance with the PLA’s statutory duties, policies and other environmental legislation and made appropriate recommendations in relation to mitigation measures and conditions.

Participated in the first systematic and long-term study of cetaceans in Slovenia and the Gulf of Trieste, obtaining skills in field data collection and responsible for handling large datasets and building on my analytical approaches to different tasks.Involved in education and public outreach events, successfully communicating to members of the public.Independently gathered data for my final-year research project.
