I am currently gaining some work experience within the field of mental health at the Bristol Royal Infirmary, as well as Bristol Hospital for Children. This involves seeing patients with a mental health nurse, and conducting mental health assessments.

During my role as an associate for the international mental health charity CAREIF, I have helped with various tasks such as running events as well as helping with literature reviews for mental health and interpreting.

As a Super Peer for TellMi, I communicated with young adults who were anonymously seeking help with their mental health concerns through an App. Through this experience, I developed effective communication skills and added to my interpersonal skills, responding to others in a compassionate and non-judgmental manner when offering support and advice.

During my time as a Calling Campaign Ambassador, I had the opportunity to speak to prospective students at the University of Reading who had questions about the University and the Bsc Psychology course. I was able to give advice and guidance on accommodation, lecture/seminar content, placement years and the campus. This allowed me to enhance my communication skills and grew my confidence in speaking to new people.
