Senior Manager
CurrentGenerations United’s mission is to improve the lives of children, youth, and older adults through intergenerational collaboration, public policies and programs for the enduring benefit of all. For three decades, Generations United has been the catalyst for policies and practices stimulating cooperation and collaboration among generations, evoking the vibrancy, energy and sheer productivity that result when people of all ages come together. As the Senior Manager at Generations United, I collaborate with national and local partners to identify, develop, and spread effective intergenerational strategies. Responsibilities include:- Managing a variety of grant-funded projects that aim to encourage interdisciplinary collaboration and connections across generations - Developing and cultivating partnerships with national and local nonprofits, agencies, universities, corporations, and funders- Administering national recognition and awards programs that raise awareness of effective cross-age strategies, including Intergenerational Programs of Distinction and Best Intergenerational Community Awards- Providing training and technical assistance to individuals, organizations, and communities - Leading Generations United’s Global Intergenerational Conference, including educational content, sponsorship, marketing, and vendor management- Collaborating with experts in the field to identify and promote evidence-based practices and innovative models
