Partnering with the nation’s leading experts on kinship and grandfamilies to develop and implement the first ever National Technical Assistance Center for those who serve grandfamilies and other kinship families. The Network is increasing the capacity and effectiveness of states, territories, Tribes/Tribal organizations, nonprofit and other community-based organizations to improve services and supports to kinship families. Managed the day-to-day operations of a growing national non-profit association of nearly 500 child welfare agencies that impact the lives of hundreds of thousands of children, youth and families annually. Collaborate with the Board of Directors to promote the mission and vision of the association, and its presence as the leader in treatment family care. Operationalize and implement the strategic plan. Provide technical assistance and leadership to 10 committees and 25 chapters. Provide direction to staff responsible for developing, promoting and executing of an annual conference of over 1,000 participants. Coordinate grant projects that provide technical assistance to child welfare agencies and benefit the recipients of child welfare services. Lead and inspire an extensive volunteer base of professionals responsible for developing research-to-practice resources, grassroots advocacy initiatives, publications, program standards and professional development programming.

Led the membership recruitment, retention and servicing operations for a national association of over 2,000 management consultants. Administered the association’s Certified Management Consultant program. Managed all aspects of the planning, promotion and execution of the organization’s professional development programs throughout the United States. Assisted the Executive Director in executing the strategic plan. Served as managing editor of the member newsletter and as interim-Executive Director during a transition period.
