Sheri leads Generations United’s work to expand the development of intergenerational programs, and strategic communications for the organization. During her 20+ years with Generations United, she has developed resources and provided training and technical assistance; launched numerous initiatives including the National Center on Shared Sites and the Intergenerational Program Certification program; and created a variety of learning networks and capacity-building projects.

Responsible for overall management and coordination of organization's intergenerational mentoring, service learning, and computer programs. Managed organization's AmeriCorps contract. Recruited, trained, supported, and supervised 12 AmeriCorps members who served in Seattle schools and senior services organizations. Edited and wrote articles for quarterly newsletter. Organized discussions on current public policy issues. Coordinated events at national conference. Provided information and assistance on intergenerational programming and public policy issues.
