Managed primary documents and images for the creation of a Digital Archive for the Virginia Indian Heritage Program using Omeka. Organized resources, collecting and scanning documents from Virginia recognized tribes and entering all metadata. Edited web entries using Oxygen XML Editor to link historical events into biographical entries, as well as affiliations with demographic groups, political parties, and relevant subcategories for Encyclopedia Virginia.

Organized and developed mailing lists for Teachinghistory.org, primarily through MS Excel. Contacted organizations for outreach efforts; for example, asking a website to review our site or put up a hyperlink. Gathered appropriate images for newsletters and online items, assisted in getting copyright, and helped determine the final appearance of newsletter.
