Created and implemented lesson plans pertaining to photography, critical reading and writing skills, and the English language to university students within the Faculty of Arts at the University of Prishtina, as well as beneficiaries of the Center for Protecting Victims and Preventing Trafficking in Human Beings;Taught English, chess, and yoga to Afghan refugee women and girls at Camp Bondsteel in Ferizaj;Volunteered at several prominent NGOs in Prishtina such as the Kosovo Women's Network, the Kosovo Rehabilitation Center for Torture Victims, and EcoKosWomen, where photography, English translating/copyediting, and graphic design skills are heavily utilized; Engaged the local culture with the overarching goal of cultural exchange between Kosovo and the United States.

Spearheaded the marketing and recruitment strategy for Women’s Executive Leadership Program; formulated a two-month social media, email marketing, and digital advertising campaign; created and periodically updated the campaign's landing page as well as promotional toolkits for Board Members and WELP Alumnae to use to spread word of the Program to their networks; successfully increased site traffic by over 300% at the height of the campaign.Produced programming and marketing collateral (workbooks, reports, instructions, postcards, printed cards with QR codes, one-pagers, and social media and newsletter graphics) to publicize client services and as part of the larger communications strategy of the organization.Created daily content for The Impact Center’s social media accounts and published biweekly newsletters centered around women’s leadership and leadership development programs; introduced and implemented a number of new features to the latter, including a self-produced video featurette. Used Google Analytics and URL tracking to improve weekly performance across all channels and to inform a broader digital/emarketing strategy.Collaborated regularly with The Impact Center’s senior team and interns to develop an ongoing alumnae engagement plan (and the accompanying business model) from the ground up.Provided technical support for virtual programming and client services as needed; drafted and updated site content as needed; wrote and maintained protocols (as well as recorded tutorial videos) for all aspects of the organization’s communications strategy and tools for recordkeeping and onboarding purposes.

I helped The Portland Grief House (remotely) develop and implement a wide-reaching social media marketing campaign that broadcasts their mission: to reshape the grieving process into an integrated and shared experience, one where community gatherings (centered around activities such as yoga, hikes, cooking, crafts, and mindfulness exercises) can "weave loss into life." I designed, built and optimized the Grief House's new website, which I now maintain in order to field content submissions and connect visitors with the appropriate resources. I also created and implemented a content calendar for their various social media profiles.

As a Program Leader, I assisted the TRIO Program Director with the implementation and supervision of an after-school recreation program for teens and adults with moderate to severe developmental and cognitive disabilities. When necessary, I provided 1:1 assistance to participants in daily activities such as cooking, hygiene, organization and interacting with others, as well as managed interpersonal relationships when considering how to complement participant personalities and preferences with recreational activities such as sports and games, dance, arts and crafts, community outings, transportation, therapeutic animal assisted therapy, music therapy and therapeutic swimming. I maintained the necessary behavior protocols as well as ongoing communication with parents while encouraging participants to build life skills and friendships with one another.

I worked under the Center’s communications consultant to improve their social media strategy and media archive; I also photographed staff members, gift shop items, and buildings and rooms of the Center in order to improve the professionalism of their refurbished website. Over a period of several weeks, I assisted my supervisor in the preproduction, production, and postproduction of a short film about the production of figs, which is to be featured in the founders’ museum about the city of Ouazzane. The other half of my duties involved organizing the new Wilfrid Rollman collection at the Center’s secondary location, where I categorized each book by genre before entering its information into a spreadsheet as according to the Dewey Decimal System.

As a Communications Intern, I was responsible for drafting and editing press releases for research done or statements made by other members of the organization. I also performed daily media tracking and compiled highlights for the "Spotlight" column of the PC News, as well as photographed events and collaborations before editing and uploading them to our shared drive. I was occasionally responsible for attending conferences, writing informative blog posts and op-eds, updating the website, and performing various other administrative tasks.Near the end of my amazing experience with Public Citizen, I helped the department find the best DSLR camera they should buy for their employees and future interns to use once I had left; I then developed a QRC guide for the camera bag that could quickly get the basics across to anyone who had not used it before, as well as trained the entire department on how to use the camera if they needed to photograph one of their events on short notice.

Over the period of one year, I worked closely with Professor Deborah Matzner of the Anthropology Department to explore the realm of the online ASMR community and its ties to modern sound artists in India. I was responsible for conducting a literature review, as well as scheduling, conducting, and transcribing interviews with ASMRtists and other sound artists. My own portion of the research culminated in a presentation I gave in front of 50 colleagues at our school's annual Ruhlman Conference, titled "Whispers From Half a World Away: ASMR and Distant Intimacy".

As the editor-in-chief of Odyssey at Wellesley, I was responsible for editing the articles written by the Wellesley community on a bi-weekly basis. Our members ranged from 10-20 content creators at any given time, so I was also responsible for recruiting and interviewing our new members, as well as training them on how to use the MUSE platform. Lastly, I helped cultivate group cohesion by organizing and running workshops, where everyone brainstormed, wrote, edited, and published an article under my supervision and guidance. In addition, I wrote my own bi-weekly op-eds on topics of my choosing, which were then published to the site.

During summer break, I worked one-on-one with children with intellectual or developmental disabilities during various summer camps run by Howard County Recreation and Parks. As a personal chaperone, I assisted with menial tasks such as going to the restroom and staying focused during lunch, but also facilitated a level of engagement with program activities (such as learning how to ride a bike or performing a small part in a play) that worked best for the child.
