When necessary, I provided 1:1 assistance to participants in daily activities such as cooking, hygiene, organization and interacting with others, as well as managed interpersonal relationships when considering how to complement participant personalities and preferences with recreational activities such as sports and games, dance, arts and crafts, community outings, transportation, therapeutic animal assisted therapy, music therapy and therapeutic swimming. I maintained the necessary behavior protocols as well as ongoing communication with parents while encouraging participants to build life skills and friendships with one another.

Communications Department InternCenter For Cross Cultural Learning (Cccl) May 2019 - Aug 2019Rabat Prefecture, MoroccoI worked under the Center’s communications consultant to improve their social media strategy and media archive; I also photographed staff members, gift shop items, and buildings and rooms of the Center in order to improve the professionalism of their refurbished website. Over a period of several weeks, I assisted my supervisor in the preproduction, production, and postproduction of a short film about the production of figs, which is to be featured in the founders’ museum about the city of Ouazzane. The other half of my duties involved organizing the new Wilfrid Rollman collection at the Center’s secondary location, where I categorized each book by genre before entering its information into a spreadsheet as according to the Dewey Decimal System. -

Metro AreaAs a Communications Intern, I was responsible for drafting and editing press releases for research done or statements made by other members of the organization. I was responsible for conducting a literature review, as well as scheduling, conducting, and transcribing interviews with ASMRtists and other sound artists. My own portion of the research culminated in a presentation I gave in front of 50 colleagues at our school's annual Ruhlman Conference, titled "Whispers From Half a World Away: ASMR and Distant Intimacy".
