Profile bio

About Emily Ritchie

I am a current PhD candidate in Social Psychology at Yale University, who is passionate about incorporating sound social science practices into our understanding of modern social issues and the development of community programs to enact change. Across my 7+ years of research experience, I have examined methods of changing harmful attitudes, ameliorating conflict, and increasing support for more inclusive social policies. My recent work looks at the efficacy of different bias intervention components and the schedule on which interventions should be administered to deliver the best results. Moving forward, I am eager to find opportunities to utilize my social science skills to more directly impact and advocate for community issues, particularly through MEL data collection and analysis.
