I worked at Waitrose on a part time basis from 2012 to 2015 and then throughout the summer and Christmas holidays of my first and second year of University. During this time I worked in three sections; Fresh, Ambient and Waitrose.com.Fresh and Ambient were similar sections where I was replenishing the shelf. Whilst I was working in these areas I had to have good time management as somethings could only be on the shop floor for 30 minutes. I was also there for the customers to ask any questions that they may have. The third section I have worked on was Dot Com, this was where I was part of a team trying to get all the customers shopping done. As we were getting the shopping done we also had to fit in our breaks to make sure that we had them but we wouldn’t get behind, therefore we had to communicate to one another. I was also there to answer any queries the customer might have about where their shopping was.
