Working with PLM and MM/WM colleagues to ensure integrated and coherent solutions are designed and delivered. Working across the McLaren Group - for Automotive: Owning, developing and improving the SAP QM, PP & ME solutions. Providing QM & PP knowledge & solutions to improve & enhance the “fit” of the solution within the business. For McLaren Applied Technologies: Working as lead technical resource for the 'Design to Manufacture' workstreams during S4/HANA CLOUD implementation assessment.Leading, recruiting & retaining a team onsite in addition to working with a third party first line service provider. Working alongside Automotive business counterparts to design, prove, develop and test a bespoke SAP Fiori based ME solution less than six months before Go Live. Driving solution determination across business functional areas such as PPAP Portal solutions and Aegis MES.

Responsible for leading the team who had developed the SAP solutions for Production Planning (PP), Manufacturing Execution (ME) and Quality Management (QM), and the team of developers maintaining the incumbent ERP system. Undertook team recruitment, formalised the Change process of the incumbent system, managed customers and ensured team retention.

Working alongside the McLaren Automotive Sales Functional Lead during the implementation of SAP into McLaren Automotive. Capturing existing business processes, system and process requirements combined with understanding the capabilities of the SAP VMS (Vehicle Management System) module in order to design future business processes and SAP configuration. Undertook workshops with the business and with other work streams, produced Business Process Documents, role mapping’s, Change Impact Analyses, wrote test scripts, undertook system testing, prepared training material & prepared for solution Go Live.

The role formed one half of the team responsible for the support and development of the ERP Solution used across McLaren Racing (F1 team). Support of the solution was the main focus of the role, dealing with end users across the entire business spectrum, ensuring that incidents or request were dealt with efficiently and throughly. Software development utilising Magic/UniPaaS alongside a Pervasive database to develop solutions meeting customer needs. Working alongside the Lead Developer two upgrades of the solution were successfully undertaken with code migration, testing, data conversion, end user training and go live support all completed.

Seconded to a SAP implementation programe, initially tasked with overseeing solution design for Manufacturing, Quality, Production Planning and Logistics across all entities of the McLaren Group, the role adapted to become solely responsible for the MM (Materials Management) solution within McLaren Group and McLaren Electronics. SAP MM successfully went live in McLaren Group in January 2014.

Responsible for over fifty successful implementations of Jobshop/ Javelin/ Paragon onto customer sites. Undertook requirements analysis, solution design, system configuration, key and end user training, software development (Magic /UniPaaS), data migration, writing of functional & technical specifications.Represented the company at trade shows & annual customer events. Supported the Pre-Sales Consultant on site visits and formed a key member of the product development team. Customers supported were in industries ranging from banking to MotoGP, production of hand cream to manufacturing cleaning trolleys but always with a clear focus on Production.
