I am a PhD candidate at Duke University in Biomedical Engineering. My research focuses on using biomaterials to influence and control immune responses in vaccine development, with a particular focus on globally relevant infectious diseases - gonorrhea, HIV, and influenza. I additionally have focused on developing sublingual vaccine formulations which are needle-free and heat stable, enabling self-administration and dissemination to low resourced areas.
