Meeting with clients and families in the community to assess individual needs through a standardized assessment tool in order to access services and supports through the Ministry of Children Community and Social Services.

Worked alongside a group of staff to plan and implement a Summer Program for people with varying abilities. My current position of Assistant On-Site Director is a role based on the importance of being inclusive and creating community, where I work alongside the On-Site Director of Summer program to hire individuals of varying abilities to work with the Summer Program team at their weekly day program.

Placement student through Extend-A-Family, at the W.A.L.E.S. Group. I am a community facilitator for individuals who are "differently abled". I support individuals in achieving their personal goals to become more involved within the Kitchener-Waterloo Region.

I was a placement student with K-W Senior Day Program. I worked with older adults who were diagnosed with; Alzheimer, Dementia, Acquired Brain Injury and/or Frail Elderly. I facilitated small group activities for these individuals in order to keep their socialization and community involvement up.
