Work with K-5 teachers on mathematics curriculum and instruction which includes co-planning, co-teaching and co-reflecting. Additionally, work with students both in the classroom and by providing intervention as needed.

Facilitate professional development workshops on Contexts for Learning curriculum for K-5 teachers. Additionally, assist with writing assessments for Kindergarten through grade 5 in mathematics, designed to pick up on where children are on the Landscapes of Learning (mathematical developmental trajectories) to help inform teacher instructional moves.

Utilize child-centered and developmentally appropriate mathematics, literacy, social studies, and science curriculum based upon research and best practices. Utilized Reader's and Writer's Workshops, Fundations, Contexts for Learning Units (Cathy Fosnot) for math workshop as well as Marilyn Burns resources. To build dispositions for learning and integrate content areas, The Project Approach (Katz, Chard) was utilized in our Kindergarten program. I coached my colleagues in grades pre-K through 4 on implementing best practices in Constructivist and Cognitively Guided Mathematics Instruction (CGI), including planning and running a PLC. Additionally, I assisted with planning for and presenting at parent math education nights.

Winter/Spring 2019: Assisted with teaching a graduate level course on Geometry for the Elementary Grades (including Early Childhood). I worked with graduate students on lesson planning, meeting the needs of all students, and exposing children to meaningful and authentic experiences in geometry. I also assisted with grading assignments.Fall 2018: Assisted with teaching a Math Practicum graduate level course. In this course, students learned to use the Response to Intervention (RTI) approach to help students who need intervention to support their development in mathematics.Summer 2018: Assisted with teaching a graduate level course - Numbers, Operations, and Algebraic Reasoning. The course focused on the ideas of a math workshop model including lesson planning, assessment, and student discourse to support the mathematics development of all children. Students in this course were also guided to deepen their own understanding of varied mathematics strategies, big ideas and models.

Administration of grant and scholarship programs, including grant evaluation, technical assistance to nonprofits, and database management.
