Emily Syracuse, LMSW. Graduate of the Greater Rochester Collaborative Masters of Social Work program through Nazareth College and The College at Brockport. My passion included mental health with young adults, the LGBTQ+ population, and animal assisted therapy.In an unlikely turn of events, I fell into the field of Information Technology. I was a longstanding employee of GameStop while in college, and have been learning about different forms of tech since I was very young. I honed the basics of IT and Office 365 management as a Support Specialist at The Villa of Hope and Coordinated Care Services Inc. Prior to joining Innovative Solutions, I was an Application Support Specialist at Health Homes of Upstate New York (HHUNY) supporting Netsmart CareManager.I now support Care Managers across Upstate NY in partnership with Huther Doyle and the Technology Care Enablement (TCE) Program. This initiative provides high powered devices to Care Managers so that they can adequately serve clients in need. Using cloud-based documentation software and secure virtual desktops powered by Amazon Web Services.My career has brought me to a place where I can assist those who are helping others. My experience surrounding Technology and Social Work allows for an intimate understanding and appreciation for both worlds.
