• Manage Import procedures and maintain Import regulations.• Apply for new permits and renew existing Import permits in a timely and compliant manner.• Ensure timely check of documentation against import permits and Import regulations. • Keeping customers, suppliers and all relevant stakeholders informed on inbound schedules and delivery timelines.• Liaise with official organisations- Imported Foods / DAFF/ Australian Customs to ensure compliance with current regulations. • Consult Trusted Trader when assistance is required on clearance queries.• Keep stakeholders informed of stock in transit to ensure we avoid out of stock situations. • Assist Trading and Finance teams with enquiries relating to import orders.

• Management oversight of all import shipments and procedures including supervision of other import documentation staff to ensure service standards are met within KPI’s and company values expectations.• Primary responsibility on managing the import logistics relationship management on the key supplier relationship with Leprino and other suppliers as may be identified by management.• Liaising with Logistics suppliers (warehouses, transport companies, customs brokers etc) to ensure pickups, deliveries and loading deadlines are met for import deliveries• Working with document issuers as necessary to ensure import shipments meet all customer and Australian importing requirements with a focus on accuracy and timeliness.• Keeping customers, suppliers and all relevant stakeholders informed on schedules and updates for all files (eg. Sending D/O’s, IFIP inspections, deliveries etc)• Liaising with official organisations (eg. DAWR) to ensure import documentation, permits & licenses comply with all importing requirements• Receive, process and confirm orders as received from the Trading team• Maintaining accurate company records (BSM, stock records etc) within stakeholder timeframes• Checking and passing on all associated invoices per file to the Finance Department within company specified timelines• Assisting traders and finance department with enquiries on the status of any document, shipment status, invoice or other matters relating to import and domestic orders• Trouble shooting and problem solving• Assisting Logistics team members when necessary, including working closely with Inventory Manager on inbound stock matters• Keep all stakeholders informed of stock on order and in transit levels, including abnormal movements, on import, distribution and Australian orders to prevent shortages, delays and mitigate slow moving stock• Providing feedback to internal stakeholders on operational and process issues
