Participate in the treatment process of juveniles and engage in the probationer's treatment through regular and on-going communication with treatment providers and through attendance at treatment groups and facilities. Assist in the development of relapse prevention plans. Develop needed community resources and create/ maintain partnerships with identified community stakeholders. Complete field work in the form of regular and on-going visits to juvenile's home, treatment, school, employment, support group, 12-step, group home, and team meetings. Help develop positive, ongoing informal support systems. Facilitate groups which include, topical, supervision groups, cognitive programs, skill building, life skills enhancement, and general education of juveniles. Conduct and prepare for submission to the court or other entities reports to include presentence (PSI) investigations, PSI Updates, predisposition (PDI) investigations, supervision overviews, alleged probation violation reports, and various other types of written correspondence. Interpret data as it applies to successful performance standards for probationers and evaluate data in relationship to best practices and evidence-based standards.
