Responsible for building a remotely controlled plane that meets national rules and guidelines set in place by the AIAA. Worked at the Distribution Control Center to assist in the day to day power restoration process. Received training under a Control Center Lead and monitored an assigned area’s trouble tickets to ensure that there were an adequate number of crews at all times. Hosted daily phone calls in regard to staffing of the entire state of Florida, and provided reports on the previous day’s outages. Validated trouble tickets to lower CMI (customer minutes interrupted) for the company. Assisted the senior workload coordinator with creating a PowerBi file to monitor the productivity of dispatchers. Worked actively during Hurricane Debby to restore power to affected areas.
