I lead an energetic team of Behavioral Science professionals who act on behalf of customers every day. Our team designs user interfaces, analyzes a variety of data sources, evaluates hundreds of products, and most importantly, works with D2’s customers on recommendations that solve customer pain points. What we love most are in-home usability studies. This is where the true voice of the customer is found and is a constant reminder who we design for. After nearly 20 years in the industry, I have learned that one thing remains constant: customer needs are ever-changing and truly listening to them is the only way to get it right.

D2 helps other companies make their products better and easier to use. We do this through a variety of methods including usability evaluations. Our mission is to help our customers increase customer satisfaction, reduce support calls, and reduce returns.

Emily started her career of making products easier to use at Gateway. There she led efforts to develop color coding standards, quick setup guides, and the out-of-box experience. She also managed a team of technicians responsible for testing software and consumer electronics products.
