I was responsible for managing a portfolio of marketing partners (i.e. RBC, Canadian Tire, Bell, Toyota and Coca-Cola to name a few). As a part of marketing partnerships team at the COC we generate, grow and maintain revenue for the Canadian Olympic Committee, we do this through pitching sales opportunities to new marketing partners, ensuring we are in a strong place with our current family of partners for contract renewals and brainstorming new ways for our current partners to activate against our brand 365 days of the year.

motionball raises funds and awareness for the Special Olympics Canada Foundation, supporting Canadians with an intellectual disability. Their mandate is to introduce the next generation of supporters, volunteers and donors to the Special Olympics movement through integrated social and sporting events. While at motionball, I was responsible for providing management and oversight on all aspects of motionball’s 18 annual events, held in 12 cities, from conceptualization through execution. Events included 2800-person galas, 1000-person multi-sport events, golf tournaments, and launch event of national anti-bullying campaign. I was responsible for maintaining their current sponsor relationships (i.e. Air Miles, Under Armour, Molson) while personally securing several new local sponsorships and supporters.
