• Researched and implemented a Spanner secondary index and materialized view to improve server latencies of queries with incomplete primary keys and JOINs. Wrote documentation on my research and presented to my team’s organization.• Gradually introduced the index to more users until it was fully released. • Researched, designed, tested, and landed a solution to apply a custom Gaussian blur to Flutter iOS PlatformViews when a Backdrop Filter blur is applied. The solution solves an issue that affected over 53 Flutter developers.• Implemented three approaches in Objective-C, documented findings and chose the final solution. Presented the final solution to over 30 team members.• Participated in Google Women Intern Community, Intern Leadership Speaker Series, and Intern Mentor Program.• Held seven informational interviews with Googlers to understand different roles on project teams (SWE, PM, UXR), network, and explore teams at Google (Google Search, Google Classroom, Google Health, Moonshot, Flutter).

• Taught 2 courses of computer programming fundamentals to students ages 10-18.• Utilized Microsoft’s MakeCode platform to teach programming in a block language, JavaScript, and Python based on individual students’ experience levels.• Instructed full-day classes held both in-person and through Zoom.

• Designed a waste disposal iOS mobile app with a team of three interns. The app identified a trash object with Apple’s Core ML and told the user how to dispose of it.
