Social Science Officer
CurrentI support the MCS' day-to-day social science needs, as well as supporting our wider community engagement projects. I also extensively support our Community Voice Method work both in the UK and the UKOTs. Specifically, I have conducted community research in Anguilla and the Turks and Caicos Islands, and produced documentaries based on my thematic analysis of interviews for Montserrat, the British Virgin Islands, Anguilla and Shetland. I also led a social science study into the human dimensions of seabed habitat conservation, examining people's experiences and perspectives on Advanced Mooring Systems in Cawsand Bay and the Voluntary No Anchor Zone in Portland Harbour, and have co-led workshops in these locations.
