While employed at National Distribution Service I gained valuable knowledge of the third-party logistics field that included all aspects of the process from start to finish. I was hired in 2018 as an Assistant Logistics Coordinator. Within a year I was asked to take over a dual position as the company’s Freight Coordinator and managing customer accounts on my own. When I initially assumed the role of Freight Department Manager only a small fraction of our customers utilized our freight service. I saw this as an opportunity to grow our business and began to research options that would be more appealing for our customers. I created partnerships with freight brokers who serviced LTL, dedicated loads & white glove delivery services. I started to coordinate customer needs with these new connections and within the next two years the freight department became profitable enough to justify a full-time position. At this point I chose to shift my focus to Customer Account Management and trained another employee for that position. Focusing on customer accounts allowed a successful merge into managing hundreds of projects for several customers including Classic Installs, BJ Wholesales, The Kitchen Guys, IO Infusion Centers, Cooper’s Hawk Winery, and others.

While employed for Clarkson Eyecare, at the frame warehouse distribution center, I acquired experience in inventory management. My daily task included creating purchase orders, receiving shipments I.E., verifying inventory against packing slips, noting shorted or damaged stock with carriers & vendors, cataloging/ stocking inventory and accessing in a timely manner as needed, processing invoices, filling patient orders, directly communicating with customers to solve issues and provide useful information and working in a team atmosphere as a leader & collaborator.· Creating and placing purchase orders with vendors· Receiving orders and checking them against purchase orders· Processing/ submitting invoices within a 30-day bill period.· Tracking shipments· Communicating with Vendors (backorders, shorted/ damaged shipments)· Formulating Min/ Max purchase orders using analytical sales data

While working at the Elegant Child I climbed my way up the ladder to a lead position by exhibiting skills of leadership and reliability. I started as an assistant teacher then got promoted to a co-lead position and on to become a lead teacher in charge of my own classroom.
