Credit & Collections (Accounts Receivable) Analyst

• Liaison between management and customers to assist in audits and reconciliations• Provide customers with excellent engagement experience when resolving account issues in a timely manner• Train and supervise entry-level associates to ensure daily tasks are completed and quality of work is achieved• Process account adjustments, offsets, small balance write offs, credit memos and monthly statements• Ensure all deductions sent for credit are in compliance• Research validity of claims and resolve variances from short payments, shortages, price protections, freight expenses, returns, pricing and/or co-op• Ensure invoices, chargebacks, and deductions are paid and cleared timely according to aging• Assist in month-end closing by reconciliation of general ledger accounts• Forecast assigned portfolio’s cash flow and collections to meet departmental metrics and goals
