Hello! I am currently a Senior Secretary at Cass County State's Attorney's Office in Fargo, North Dakota. I perform a variety of duties around the office like assisting legal assistants; communicating with multiple law agencies; manage traffic citations; distribute legal documents to files. Prior to this position, I was a Receptionist and also a File Clerk for the same office. The legal field has been my main focus of experience for about 2 1/2 years now. Prior to these positions, I was mainly working in the health care field. Throughout those years, I discovered that I was more interested in the paper side of things rather than working hands-on in the field. Working at the State's Attorney's office has really helped me gain confidence in my communication abilities, time management, deescalation tactics and has given me access to multiple computer software programs.Currently, I am working towards achieving an Associate of Applied Science degree in Health Information Management/Coding through Minnesota State University and Technical College full-time. I do this online as I am also full-time at the office.
