SmartyPants Inc. (Unilever) makes multifunctional supplements for Kids, Adults and Dogs, and was acquired by Unilever in December 2020. As the first Creative hire at SmartyPants, I played an integral role in developing the brand and building an in-house creative department.- Oversee, manage, and lead the design department in all their functions and responsibilities.- Develop and design packaging solutions across all product lines. 50+ SKUs both national and international.- Key stakeholder in all packaging related decisions. Substrates, quality control, printing, and production.- Create the brand aesthetic and oversee the implementation across all channels. Including brand campaigns, video and photography content, E-com, social media, print/digital ads, tradeshows, and in-house collateral.- Plan, lead, and art direct photoshoots and other visual content.- Source and work with vendors to create best-in-class assets.- Work cross functionally with other departments to ensure all organizational creative needs are met.
