Work as Match day hospitality staff within the Legends Club. Here I am in charge of up to 25 guests and am responsible for taking and serving all their drink and food orders across the whole day! This role is very fast paced with high amounts of teamwork and time management. A typical match day shift starts once the doors open for guests just 3 hours before kick off, with most of the guests arriving with just 2 hours until kick off. My duties once doors open are to meet each party at the door, show them to the table and get orders for and serve the 3 course meal and drinks before kick off. As well as aid my colleagues with their tables if they are running behind.

Birmingham, United Kingdom

This role was split across the Birmingham office (June 2019 to September 2019) and Leeds office (October 2019 - April 2020). Whilst at the Birmingham offices myself and a team of environmental scientists, surveyed and monitored Birmingham canals looking at water quality and ecological diversity with the aim of increasing the water vole population. The work at the Leeds office was very self driven and conducted alongside degree studies. The work here included designing a research project and producing a comprehensive written report. This project investigated reasons why aquatic ecology fluctuated in abundance with movement along the Rochdale SSSI canal.

Weatheroak Hill

I worked as a bartender and a waitress at the Coach and Horses Pub in Weatheroak. Since I have been at this job, on top of my normal shifts, I have worked the busy beer festivals and bank holiday weekends which has allowed me to develop my ability to serve drinks and run food at speed, whilst maintaining good customer service. During my shifts when the large crowds of people have reduced, I enjoy managing my time between talking to the customers, and serving drinks.
