Student Employment at SUNY Maritime College has allowed me the opportunity to work for the Training Ship Empire State VII and Marine Transportation Department. This employment opportunity allows me to organize files, ensure proper documentation and records are kept, and provide that behind-the-scene operations are running more efficiently. I maintain records and documentation for over 600 individuals to ensure training and success is achieved by utilizing computerized programs and time management.

Throughout this academic year, I have taken the responsibliity for reviewing and improving the Regimental Rules and Regulations, Uniform Policy Manual, and other documents that help the regiment retain it's structure. This opportunity has allowed me to start my own comittee of students to review these policies and improve them while removing old or dated policies that no longer apply. My comittee and I hold weekly meetings to discuss these issues and follow the chain of command within the Regiment of Cadets to make all of these revisions possible.
