Currently working as an Admin Assistant at Fieldbay Ltd. I have previously worked as a Child Therapy Assistant. I supported children with a range of learning difficulties and Acquired Brain Injuries. I assisted with day-to-day needs such as personal care and accessing the community as well as assisting with therapeutic strategies implemented by psychologists, physiotherapists, and occupational therapists. While I was at University, I had a part-time role at CPI Care as a Support Worker. I supported adults with learning difficulties, health issues and challenging behaviors. During my time here, I gained valuable experience of how to manage displays of challenging behaviors using Positive Behavior Support and Positive Behavior Management. I assisted adults with day-to-day activities, supported them to hospital appointments, taken them on holidays, and ensured their well being was maintained. During the pandemic, I faced new challenges with isolation and managing the changes in the service users routines. I graduated from Swansea University with a Merit in MSc Clinical Psychology and Mental Health and a 2:1 in BSc Criminology and Psychology. I gained knowledge of a range of topics such as ABA, Psychosis, Statistics, and Effective disorders and Trauma. I also have a certificate in Manual Handling.
