I graduated high school at Phillips Exeter Academy in 2022, and now attend Gettysburg College as an undergraduate student, where I major in Health Sciences and minor in neuroscience. I've spent past summers working as a front of house employee for Fireside Catering, nannying, and as a retail employee at Canobie Lake Park. Throughout the school year at Gettysburg, I work as an outdoor facilitator at the Garthwait Leadership Center. In this role, I get to work in a variety of settings, including classrooms, our climbing gym, our high and low ropes courses, and in the backcountry to design and run challenge-based workshops that many different groups' goals. Often those goals include building communication skills, practicing team-building, and engaging in reflection! Outside of workshops, at the Garthwait Leadership center I've worked on a number of project teams to plan and lead a freshman preorientation retreat, organize employee training events, and plan the 2024 Eisenhower Leadership conference. A significant part of my job this year is being the 2023-2024 project lead for the hiring and onboarding team. Outside of my work at the Garthwait Leadership Center, I'm a member of the Alpha Phi Omega community service organization, participate in Climbing Club, and work as a PLA (peer learning assistant) for Biology 111.
