As a student coordinator with the Harvard First Generation Program, I conduct outreach to potential first-generation applicants, as well as build the first-generation community on campus. I provide support for students applying to Harvard and help bridge the gap between first generation students and higher education.

As a Case Team Lead, I create the Scope of Work for our client, create weekly assignments for our analysts to research, compile the research to present to our client, and work with the Managing Director to ensure that our clients receive high-quality, and comprehensive research to suit their business needs.

The Harvard First Year Retreat Experience is a program designed to help 160+ incoming first-year students from underrepresented communities transition to campus life at Harvard. 32 current upperclassmen students facilitate a community that guides incoming first-years through their first weeks at Harvard. The program also connects students with support offices on campus to ensure that they are well-equipped with the necessary tools for academic, professional, and social success. Co-chairs are tasked with selecting the team of upperclassmen students, coordinating with on-campus offices, and further advancing the representation and support of underrepresented students on campus.

As an intern on the New Programs team, I sourced new issue areas where Arnold Ventures could expand its already vast portfolio of projects. This required a deep dive into the current landscape in the issue area and to question whether AV's resources were a) able to make an impact in the issue area, b) appropriate for this space, and c) whether the issue area had enough momentum behind it to make lasting change.

As a summer intern, I conducted research on the council member's legislative priorities, organized constituent calls and referred them to appropriate staff resources, and consolidated information on Houston's communities.
