Recent Honors Scholars graduate from High Point University with a B.S. in Exercise Science. I am aspiring to pursue a career in healthcare as a physician assistant. I made the most of my time at HPU by working hard as an Honors Scholar, planning and executing member meetings as the Pre-Physician Assistant Club President, and running the social media accounts and marketing for HPU EMS as the Deputy Chief of Public Relations and Outreach. I was an active member of Kappa Delta Sorority holding numerous positions such as Senior Assistant to the Vice President of Community Service, Sisterhood Event Chair, Bid Day Planning Committee, and Accountability and Support Board member, among many others. I was also a member of Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Central Piedmont, where I mentored an elementary school girl facing adversity and gave her advice, confidence, and support, while also giving her a trustworthy role model and friend. Post graduation, I am taking a gap year to work and build my experience in a variety of healthcare positions. I am currently working as an EMT at Northwell Health, volunteering as an EMT at Wantagh-Levittown Volunteer Ambulance Corps, and working as a dental assistant at Bella Smiles of Roslyn. I am very passionate about providing high-quality care to my patients and motivated to learn in order to work towards my goal of becoming a physician assistant.
