I was responsible for the training and development of Northrim's ~320 employees. I offered a portfolio of courses to all employees, such as time management, meeting facilitation, customer service, DiSC and a suite of supervisor classes. I also worked to align my work to the Bank's business objectives, resulting in a project wherein I worked to clarify the skills and abilities for a critical business role and helped individuals in this role assess their performance gaps so that they could strategically address them. The project also identified critical work environment factors that were supporting and hindering performance in this role.I collaborated with key stakeholders to select and implement a new Learning Management System that met the needs of the organization significantly better than the previous system.

I was responsible for coordinating the strategic efforts of three different networks, each tasked with a specific focus area that would positively impact Anchorage's high school graduation rate. Our overall goal was to reach a 90% high school graduation rate by the year 2020.To be successful, I drastically improved my facilitation skills to help move groups from talk to action as efficiently as possible. I enabled the continuation and city-wide growth of an impactful youth engagement initiative through creative problem solving and consensus-building. I coordinated staff of various organizations as they scaled up a successful youth program, in compliance with the schedule and governance imposed by the terms of a large-scale, multi-year grant.

I developed and delivered training for users of the Alaska Career Information System and coached high school teachers through site set-ups and how to use the system with their students. I enhanced learning efficiency with better graphics and increased audience relevancy of existing training materials. Identifying the users' need to access training on their own schedules, instead of only via synchronous webinars, I created custom training videos to be accessed from the portal website.
