Collaborated with the Director of Support, the Marketing team, Product Owners and the entire Support staff to ensure that Emma Community and the Customer Resource Center were both effective, scalable resources delivering a World-Class customer experience.Daily responsibilities included supervising all support team and customer interaction in the community forum to ensure that all conversations were relevant, searchable and helpful to customers.Managed customer Resource Center to ensure accurate and up to date product information and help documentation was available to Emma customers. Had the privilege of celebrating customer anniversaries with hand-written notes and managing the annual Emma 25 program, where Emma awards 25 small nonprofits with free Emma accounts each year!

Emma's support team is responsible for providing operational, billing and technical support to all current customers. As a front-line member of the support team, I fielded customer phone calls, emails and forum posts to troubleshoot technical issues and answer inquiries quickly and efficiently. I managed my personal case load using team-established processes and workflows and maintained knowledge of current product offerings, partner integrations and upcoming feature sets. I collaborated with my peers and team supervisors to find creative solutions to staffing, scheduling and workflow challenges.

Show Hope is a nonprofit ministry with a mission to restore the hope of a family to waiting children around the world through adoption aid and orphan care initiatives. I managed all aspects of the merchandise line including production and inventory control for the web store, seeking out new revenue streams, securing retail contracts and developing local partnerships and vendor relationships. I had the pleasure of working for Show Hope for 3 years where I developed my customer service, event planning, merchandising and purchasing, budget and project management and executive support skills. I also traveled to China twice with groups of students and adults to visit Show Hope's care centers and extend love and care to the children under their care.

I spent a semester hanging with a group of talented and passionate people who are excited about helping kids fall in love with music! I joined the marketing team during the launch phase of their product and gained experience through convention marketing and personal selling. This was an interactive, first-hand look into the dynamic pace of a growing entrepreneurial venture.

I gained great insight into the event services and floral industries, as well as learning the inner-workings of a small business through my internship at AVOF. As an entrepreneurship major at Belmont University, this opportunity to shadow entrepreneurs and be involved in their daily business was exciting! I got to spend time in all areas of the business - learning through hands-on challenges. I learned about the owner and manager responsibilities. I also shadowed the wedding designers - learning about the event planning and design process as well as daily operational duties like making flower orders and practicing customer service.
