My time at the Northwest YMCA has consisted of teaching Summer Camp lessons and various art classes. Courses included, but not limited to, ceramics, painting, and fiber arts. Additional classes I assisted were dance and gym sessions for the homeschooled population.

Working with preschoolers and homeschooled children in furthering their education and promoting healthy living was one aspects of interning here. I taught children ages 5 to 7 an extension classes, as well as hosted Kids Night Out.

The role was primarily teaching and mentoring grades Kindergarten through 12th grade at various schools. In this per diem line of work, domains taught consisted of anything from Physical Education to Special Education.
