She has worked as a main street director, city planner, planner for the Texas Historical Commission, and now serves as the Director of Planning for the City of Amarillo overseeing current & long-range planning and economic development.Motivated by developing practical plans and strategies that change what people believe is possible for their communities, some of the projects of which she is most proud include: Texarkana's Federal Courthouse Public Space conceptual design and community engagement (2023 APA Great Places in Texas Award Winner); a Public Art Plan for Elgin, TX (2019); the development of the historic property website DowntownTX.org and the statewide Imagine the Possibilities tours for the Texas Main Street Program; the award-winning City Plan - Vision 2045, Amarillo's comprehensive plan update (2024 APATX Comprehensive Plan Award Winner); and securing more than $13 million in state and federal infrastructure funds for neighborhood plan projects in Amarillo.She currently serves as the Vice-President for Texas Downtown. In her free time, she is an art and music enthusiast, running her souvenir-themed graphic design and screen-printing shop, Paintbrush Print Company, and road-tripping for inspiration.
