As a museum educator it is my goal to infuse joy and creativity into the museum experience and encourage visitors of all ages to think critically about objects and their stories. As both an educator and artist I'm interested in the construction of narratives and layers of place. I believe strongly in the power of creative educational programs to empower young people and positively impact their lives.

  Designs and facilitates learning experiences for young people, including school and family audiences, summer camps, and special exhibit programming. Manages the MOHAI Youth Advisors (MYA) program, overseeing all aspects of enrollment, curriculum, and evaluation; provides editorial and production guidance on MYA digital media projects. Coordinates departmental internship program and supports intern growth and development. Builds new inquiry-based school programs and educator workshops. Collaborates with community partners to design programs and books teaching artists and guest facilitators. Facilitates hands-on exploration of Washington State history through game-based school programs and in-gallery discovery, serving over 12,000 students annually through on-site field trips.
