Apopo is a membership organisation with a vision of sustainable communities enabled by public asset management excellence. As the Membership Engagement Manager I own the relationship with individual members and am responsible for ensuring that every member experiences Apopo in a consistently positive and valuable manner.

Working with key stakeholders to deliver and improve the customer journey on the Wellington Rail network. Externally this means working with Greater Wellington Regional Council, KiwiRail and community groups to improve the network and customer experience. Internally my team makes sure our 430 staff have the information they need to not only do their job, but enjoy it.

I lead a team of six Tranz Metro Customer Communications Officers who are responsible for all operational communication. I was involved with establishing the Customer Communications Officer role, including the creation of an extensive manual which outlines all processes and templates.Our dynamic communications team works with customers, Tranz Metro staff, other KiwiRail departments and business units as well as Metlink (Greater Wellington Regional Council's transportation department) to ensure we deliver the best possible service for our customers.  We utilise all channels available to reach passengers at each stage of their journey. The channels we use include social media, websites, subscription alert services and the on-board and retail staff. Our communications team of 12 work internally with other areas of KiwiRail to keep our 350+ staff informed.

Tranz Metro operates the metro trains in Wellington for the Greater Wellington Regional Council. I provide communications advice to Tranz Metro to ensure that the Communications team meets its strategic objectives, and better serves its stakeholders.

Responsible for creating an environment which supported the company’s business development, branding and community relations efforts. Train and communicate marketing efforts to a staff of 350 in eight offices in Canada and internationally.

Graphic design of marketing collateral material as well as product packaging and point of purchase displays. Liaise with customers and vendors on custom product design. Analyse product development life cycles.
