I started my career at CNN where I was an Emmy Award-winning producer and after a fellowship in environmental journalism in Boulder, moved to Washington to launch National Geographic for Kids magazine and produce multimedia content at National Geographic and USA TODAY.I led the team that launched what would become the world’s leading environmental news and lifestyle platform, Mother Nature Network. As our company grew, we acquired Treehugger.com and built a brand studio that develops premium custom content for Fortune 500 brands, specializing in telling their digital transformation and sustainability stories.

  Narrative Content Group is a content creation, publishing, and distribution company.In February 2020, Dotdash acquired two of our largest sites, MNN.com and TreeHugger.com, and I worked with the Dotdash team on the transition and relaunch of the new Treehugger site in June 2020. In addition to creating and managing sites, Narrative develops original content for leading brands that include AT&T, Aflac, Bacardi, The Coca-Cola Company, CSX, Delta Air Lines, Dunkin’ Brands, and many more. • Manage operations and the editorial, tech, social, search, account management, creative and special projects teams at Narrative.• Manage budgets and external HR and legal resources for the company.• Work closely with CEO on business development, creating sponsor, partner, and new business presentations, and pitching to new prospects.• Consult on best practices for corporate and consumer-facing websites, sharing guidance for successful SEO and social campaigns, monitoring and interpreting user engagement metrics using tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and SEMrush to make sure sites are reaching target audiences.
