Emily Lovejoy is a Registered Nurse 4 (RN) - Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Monroe Carrell Jr Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt. She possess expertise in healthcare, nursing, training, management, hospitals and 13 more skills. Colleagues describe her as "Emily joined the Training Department following her work as a Member Service Specialist doing teller transactions as well as finalizing new accounts, closing loans, referring members for credit and loans in the Branch. She impressed me during the recruitment process when she designed a reference card for tellers to use specifically for the demonstration portion of her "audition" as a trainer. We still use her aid.
Emily completed the Train-the-Trainer workshop and immediately began observing our standard training programs. Within a very short time she assumed her own schedule. For over a year Emily worked in a remote location. She had no daily supervision. Often, this can create a challenge for both the employee and the manager. In Emily's case, she kept me updated regularly, we scheduled conferences and she completed all her classes and assignments on time. Until recently, she was the only trainer who facilitated almost all of our offerings.
Emily has authored and updated several of our on-line courses. Her effectiveness ratings from not only her students, but also the managers of those students consistently ranked among the highest ratings. Emily created exams for several modules even those that were created by other staff members. She is a strong team player willing to do what it takes for the good of the team.
We recently acquired another credit union requiring massive system training of the new employees. Emily participated in the design and development of those modules, the scheduling and facilitation. She updated existing materials and ensured that our other training programs continued through the 10 months of integration.
Emily has consistently demonstrated professionalism and maturity in her collaboration with managers, subject matter experts and her team members. She was a major asset to our credit union and I am sure will be a strong contributor to any employer or profession. I recommend Emily without hesitation." and "Emily is an extemely responsible and dedicated employee. She works well independently and can be relied upon to follow through on projects. She is an excellent faciliator and is able to train complex topics in a way that is easy to understand. She takes initiative and is an outstanding person to have as a member of a team. She is very balanced and fair in her assessment of trainees and provides valuable feedback to facilitate learning.
I would highly recommend Emily for any position that she applies for. We were sad to see her move on from the Credit Union, but were greatful for the time she gave us."
