About Emily Mun
Hi I'm Emily! I'm a program planner/manager based out of Chicago.I help create events to foster community and help people learn more about themselves and further their career. From smaller events on college campuses to global conferences for seasoned professionals, I work to ensure that the events I help create are impactful and memorable. Currently, I work to plan a meeting for 500 members and guests where I work with volunteer leaders to create a program with both member and non-member professional speakers.Prior to my professional career, I received my Master's in Asian American Studies in 2021 from UCLA where I found a passion for a learning and hoped to find various ways of continuing my educational journey outside of educational institutions. In April 2023, I received my Certificate in Product Management where I found a love for working cross-functionally with dynamic teams to create products that serve its end users. These skills have helped me in my current role and are skills I continue to grow as I grow in my career.Outside of work, I love exploring the greater Chicagoland area and diving into the rich culture of Chicago's different neighborhoods. I am also an avid reader and am always looking for a new book to read!
