Experience in Government (Department of the Environment) Senior campaigner and policy lead in two national environmental charities.Multiple roles in the British Red Cross, including capacity development, youth education, developing new education initiatives, active and desk-based research, leading policy and legislation change, strategy development and international collaboration and project lead.Backed by a Master's in Public Health, I promote the role of first aid as part of public health education, and developed networks of scientists and educationalists in the UK and abroad to improve the effectiveness of first aid education. I am a founder and senior editor of the new International Journal of First Aid Education. I am an honorary teaching assistant in Public Health at post-grad level for the University of Manchester. I have served as a trustee for two national charities and hold a number of volunteer positions locally.
