The most important aspect of my role at LightArt was connection. As a project coordinator, I focused on connecting sales representatives, customers, and future clients to drive sales. I coordinated communication for and worked directly with a multi-state (US nationwide) sales team. Daily activities included quoting and order processes for a growing sales volume of approximately $4 million/year in addition to warranty claims and other customer service needs. I also worked to develop an internal system for Frequently Asked Questions to aid business growth. During the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, I assisted with crisis communication and copywriting to help ensure client satisfaction and company success.

A student archival assistant assists Library staff with the organization, processing, and maintenance of important historical records.

Emily Fisher writes articles for the NV Sagebrush a student-run publication that won 3rd in the 2016-2017 College Media Organization Pinnacle Awards. As a staff writer, Emily is responsible for researching and writing about 20+ on-campus organizations and events including ASUN, science labs, and business schools. Emily has lead interviews with community professionals and has learned to accurately portray information from press releases.

As an intern with KNPB Emily learned the ins and outs of public broadcasting by assisting with filming, interviewing, producing and editing over 16 episodes of the award-winning national show, ArtEffects. Emily also conducted market research in the Northern Nevada area for the re-launch of a popular local program, Wild Nevada.In addition, over the course of the internship, Emily transcribed over 2000 pages of interviews and program captioning. She also assisted with basic Search Engine Optimization (SEO).
