After successfully completing my Marketing internship, I was offered a position within Red Hot Penny's Search Marketing Team. In my role as a Search Marketing Specialist I manage a number of services, which include:-On and Off Page Optimisation-Copy Writing and Content Management-Link Analysis-Pay Per Click (PPC)-Channel Marketing-Website AnalysisI have extensive experience in a wide range of digital marketing tools and techniques to support our clients. I work closely with each client to design and implement bespoke online marketing strategies to increase traffic, improve conversions and provide a quick return on investment (ROI) for accounts under my management.

I have recently been accepted on a marketing internship due to start in June 2012. In this role I will be specialising in digital marketing as well as writing the blog on behalf of the company.

As an Electrical Beauty Consultant I was responsible for advising customers on a wide range of electrical beauty products. This involved attending training courses across England to ensure that I was continually developing my existing product knowledge and to keep up to date with the latest products on the market. I was also responsible for end testing products and providing feedback on a range of aspects directly to the company. Alongside my own training and professional development, I was responsible assisting in the training of junior members of staff. This meant that I was required to write training programmes and provide ‘hands-on’ training, drawing on my own product knowledge and experience. Other duties that I was accountable for included working in the cash office, taking deliveries, stock replenishment, stock taking, processing orders and store presentation.I was often required to create a promotional display for a wide range of products. This would be eye-catching, informative, well presented and ultimately attract customers in order to sell the product. Quite often I would provide practical demonstrations and offer additional advice, should the customer needed it. This regularly would become a point of interest for many customers and would result in a high volume of the sales of the products that I was promoting. Throughout my time in this role I repeatedly exceeded my sales targets, while maintaining a high level of customer care, for which I received many recommendations to my senior managers from satisfied customers.
