I currently work as a Content Marketer at Hyve Managed Hosting, and in a freelance capacity as Editor of About Town Magazine, a publication for Burgess Hill residents. I have experience producing content across a wide variety of formats and am currently primarily focused on written content. I particularly enjoy producing long-form content for blog posts, social media content, and email marketing campaigns. I have significant experience forming and maintaining working relationships with individuals and organisations, working on a range of projects from learner referral partnerships, to large community events. Project Management has also been a focus across my work, analysing and streamlining processes, working individually and leading a team to successfully deliver projects. I am used to working to deadlines, often on multiple projects at once, so am highly organised and can manage my time well. Highlights of my professional experience include: - Rebuild of learner tracking systems including review of previous systems, seeking input from all departments, and development and implementation of a new system which is now fully functional. - Taking on the role of Editor of About Town magazine, which is delivered to 14,000 households, and updating and modernising the design and content with reader feedback in mind, to increase accessibility, provide more timely information to residents, and provide a platform to community organisations. - Project Managing and delivering 'It's Christmas in Burgess Hill!', a community event with over 2,000 attendees, collaborating with community organisations, other local authorities, and local businesses, as well as developing a programme of live performances. In 2019 I completed my degree in Graphic Design at Kingston University. During my degree course I had the opportunity to work on many varied projects, building a wide skill set including digital design, social media content production, publicity, event planning, and project management.
