I am the Managing Partner and Executive Producer at Mighty Oak, an Emmy-nominated and Clio award-winning creative studio based in New York City. Founded in 2015, we specialize in stop motion, 2D, and mixed media animation and have created award-winning branded, non-fiction, and episodic content for Netflix, HBO, Amazon, Adult Swim, TruTV, and Nick Jr. Our first original short film, UNDER COVERS, premiered at the 2019 Sundance Film Festival and was featured in IndieWire as one of Sundance’s “Must-See Gems”. In addition to TV and film projects, Mighty Oak’s commercial work has garnered billions of views across digital platforms for clients such as Conde Nast, The New York Times, Coca-Cola, Samsung, GE, Etsy, Airbnb, and TED Talks, landing our studio on Fast Company’s list of Most Creative People in Business (two spots below America’s weirdest Catwoman - Michelle Pfeiffer).With over 15 years of experience in the animation industry, I bring extensive expertise in collaborating with diverse teams to create engaging narratives. Since earning my degree from the Rhode Island School of Design in 2008 and my MFA in Non-Fiction Media from Hunter College, I have developed a passion for imparting the art of animation to audiences of all ages. My background encompasses teaching, directing, and producing a variety of projects, alongside strategic oversight of the studio. I am committed to fostering a collaborative and inspiring work environment at Mighty Oak. Prior to my work with Mighty Oak, I developed free animation classes for teen girls at the Children's Museum of the Arts, earned two National Board of Review Awards for my short films, and showcased my work at international festivals.In my free time, I enjoy experimenting with textiles and drawing, spending quality time with my two children and my cat!
