As a cheerleader for the Arizona Rattlers for the past two seasons, I am an ambassador for the team both on and off the field. From weekly practices to games and community appearances, Rattlers has helped me develop time management skills as well as create connections within in the Phoenix community. The team won Best Dance Team in the IFL and I won rookie of the year and “appearance queen” for my timeliness, professionalism at appearances and dependability to step up and step in.

As a digital marketing coordinator at Make-A-Wish America, I was hired on to assist the wish.org project, switching all 61-chapter websites from SiteCore to Drupal and Cigniti. My duties included content entry, sitemap builds, metadata entry, broken link report building and fixing, and webpage builds. I worked on strict deadlines for sitemap handover, content entry, website review and site launch.

FieryFX is a digital marketing agency located in Arizona with over 23 clients. As the PR intern, I was the only person working with PR for the company. I have written contributed articles, pitched to reporters and outlets and am helping the company as well as their clients with PR initiatives. My contributed piece and client were featured in the Arizona Foothills News. I also learned more about digital marketing including website development, SEO and website organization methods.

The PR Lab is an exciting agency experience geared toward working with real clients in a professional learning environment, preparing students for a career in public relations or marketing opportunity upon graduation. Students work in teams to develop public relations strategies and campaigns for a range of external and internal clients, adding richly to their portfolios while also developing time managements, presentation and other professional skills. Working with Urby, Percent Pledge and two ASU organizations, I have a variety of tasks including general client services and communications, creating media lists, media pitches and press releases, developing social content, managing the PR Lab Twitter account, creating how-to videos and more.

At Make-A-Wish America, I worked in the Brand department as well as the Entertainment and Sports Relations department on support for the 40th anniversary. My duties included PSA casting, communication, scheduling, invoices and distribution; creating and editing pitch decks for "star pin" integration with sports teams, local influencers, celebrities and events; communications to all 60 chapters and CEO's regarding 40th anniversary campaign and Messages of Hope campaign; creating a creative brief for Childhood Cancer Awareness Month; and tracking social coverage for Make-A-Wish campaigns, events and wishes.

At Steve LeVine, I communicated with businesses and created relationships for sponsorship opportunities for upcoming events. I assisted in putting on events like San Tan Brewing Oktoberfest, Fashion Week 4 Kids, Queen Creek Holiday Festival and Ostrich Festival. I made sure sponsors were satisfied at the events and the events ran smoothly.
