My position in VideoCentric as Head of Marketing & Customer Communications enables me to develop the brand of our organisation and ensure we are achieving and exceeding the values our organisation is based upon. I work closely with distribution and manufacturers to develop, improve & cement new and long-lasting relationships, whilst ensuring we are at the forefront of our industry with new developments, product launches and strategies.Within the marketing part of this role, I develop, design & manage all offline and online activities including SEO, social media strategies, forums & blogs, web design & development, and I design, write & produce marketing materials & imagery i.e. Business Case Studies & Customer Stories, Whitepapers, PR & business documentation for online and offline distribution. Within this role, I also organise, plan, market and ensure attendance for VideoCentric events, seminars & roundtables.My position also gives me flexibility to develop VideoCentric with regards to the organisation and management of accreditations, technical/sales training, developing policies/ procedures, and the development of SLA's in line with our manufacturers, to ensure we can meet and exceed our requirements. I work closely with each of our manufacturers & distributors including Cisco, Polycom, LifeSize, Zoom, BlueJeans, Nuvias & Imago, and carry out indepth research in Unified Communications, Video Collaboration, Cloud Solutions & Managed Services, and other industry trends, to develop our company strategies going forwards and ensure we are on track with VideoCentric's development.

I have been fundraising for the CF Trust now for over 5 years, since my oldest friend sadly passed away in March 2010 at 21 years old. Since then, I have been fundraising to raise money in her memory for the CF Trust, with current personal fundraising totalling over £20,000.Fundraising activities have included:Mount Kilimanjaro trek in Africa to Uhuru Peak, the worlds' highest free standing mountain, September 2010.Remote Lares region trek in the Peruvian Andes, to Mount Haton Paso, 4,600m altitude, April 2012.Organised and took part in a group tandem Skydive where I managed to encourage 15 friends & family to take part in the day event, raising almost £10,000 between us. June 2013.Other fundraising events include concerts, quiz nights, family day treasure hunts, charity car washes, carnival and regatta stalls, collections and sales with the organisation of day and evening events for up to 100 people.

A constantly changing role, teaching at Mad Science enabled me to work with children between 5-11 years of age in extra curricular Science classes of up to 20 children. Based in Bristol, I worked in numerous schools throughout Bristol & Bath on 6 week sessions, teaching fun but educational science including working with lazers, building rockets, explosions with dry ice and fire sessions, whilst keeping complete classroom control and working to develop class collaboration whilst helping children gain an invaluable interest in Science.This role was balanced with my University BSc studies, demonstrating personal management and organisational skills.
