Currently, I conduct interdisciplinary research, develop partnerships, and design digital & educational tools to this end. I have worked in all sectors—at government research centers, nonprofits, and tech companies—and in three different countries. I hold an MS in Biochemical & Molecular Nutrition from Tufts and am pursuing a PhD in Agricultural & Environmental Chemistry at UC Davis. My doctoral research leverages methods from the emerging field of "food informatics" and is funded in part by IC-FOODS—a nonprofit research institute innovating in this space. Beyond research, I am dedicated to advancing food informatics through education and workforce development. SOCIAL AND SUSTAINABLE INNOVATIONWithin the “sustainability” realm, I am most knowledgeable about: sustainable food systems, the circular bioeconomy, and socially responsible business models. I hold both the Sustainability Excellence Associate (SEA) credential and a professional certificate in Sustainability and Social Impact. As a PhD student, I was selected to participate in 3 fellowships in business innovation—during which I took 6 MBA courses, gained hands-on experience developing business models, and evaluated emerging agrifood technologies and startups. In 2022, I began working at venture-backed, growth-stage startup called HowGood, which provides sustainability intelligence for the food industry. There, I gained a deep understanding of both food sustainability and corporate sustainability. After 2+ years on the research team, I now l consult on the partnerships team.
