Digital And Ui DesignerCath Kidston Feb 2018 - Jan 2021London, United KingdomMy role at Cath Kidston is to manage the look and feel of all digital content, ensuring it is consistent across all online platforms and presented in an engaging, user-friendly and innovative way. My focus is the company website, email, social and online media, where I design responsive artwork, landing pages, animations, videos and advertisements for seasonal and product launches as well as collaborative campaigns. When starting work on a project I will either take assets created by the graphics team and develop them for digital use, or I will take control of the creative direction by evolving ideas and concepts brainstormed by either myself or my team.It is my responsibility to ensure that all assets designed and then technically built are tested thoroughly across all devices and resolutions to ensure that our customers have the best experience possible. When a project has been completed I will take the data provided by the rest of my team, from website engagement statistics through to direct customer feedback and determine where we can improve and advance digitally going forward.I’ve collaborated with teams both internally and externally, including Disney and New Balance, for both product collaborations and to improve the services and offerings we provide our customers. For the majority of 2019, the whole of the E-commerce team worked with the agency Astound to create and build a whole new Cath Kidston website, including the CMS. My role was to project manage the redesign, ensuring that the final product was on-brand, innovative and would contribute to more engagement and sales. -
Digital DesignerBurberry Feb 2017 - Feb 2018London, United KingdomDuring my year at Burberry I lead campaigns in bought media, creatively designing both static and animated banners using HTML, CSS and Javascript. I worked with external agencies, ensuring that any artwork was pixel perfect and followed the branding guidelines that I created for each project.I worked alongside a team of developers to look at ways we could engage with customers through innovative digital advertising with fun and interactive online experiences. I designed a series of banner animations for both mobile and desktop using Adobe After Effects and HTML, which I then tested and began building for future use.I regularly spent time with junior members of the creative team, teaching them Sketch & Principle, as well as best practices and providing guidance where needed. I worked closely with the social and video teams to guarantee that design across all platforms was consistent and of a high standard. -
Digital DesignerTed Baker May 2014 - Feb 2017Camden, LondonFor nearly three years I was responsible for supporting Ted Baker’s teams globally with seasonal launches, store openings and digital campaigns; often working on up to 7 projects at a time. For each project I would create assets that included artwork for the website and blog, emails (including the coding), social media, wholesale partner sites and videos and animations for our in-store digital screens. Every piece of creative needed to not only be responsive across all digital platforms, but to be available in multiple languages and styles in order to be used by our teams across the world. Whilst handling a huge workload on a daily basis, I also had to manage my junior designer, which meant providing feedback and advice, teaching new techniques, brainstorming ideas and setting goals and objectives. The briefs were often very creatively open as every Ted Baker store had a completely different theme and concept. This allowed me to play with the designs, be innovative and utilise all of my different expertise. For example, I created an animated video for the store opening in Miami and screen content in the form of a projection for the Wooster Street store in New York.I art directed and photographed a menswear edit for our Asian market and a womenswear edit for our Colour By Numbers capsule range. The images were featured across the website, email and social media and received recognition from the company directors. When planning and developing the photography and video for the next season, I would provide my expertise and considerations to ensure that all assets would look premium whilst being digitally focused. -
Graphic & Digital DesignerCpa Technology Nov 2013 - Mar 2014Essex, England, United KingdomI worked with local businesses in Essex to design websites, develop their branding and social media presence and to provide photography and photo-editing services. When developing their brand identity, I would design a logo, select accompanying fonts, provide guidelines for online and offline use and create templates for marketing collateral such as business cards and magazine advertisements.I had to collaborate and present to audiences who weren’t in creative roles or digitally knowledgeable, which meant I needed to be patient and confident and ensure that everything I did was explained alongside my expertise, experience and factual data.

Junior Digital DesignerLipsy London May 2013 - Nov 2013London, United KingdomMy main responsibility was to reinvent Lipsy's social media presence by designing a more modern, professional and stylish strategy that could eventually be introduced across the whole brand. This included imagery for Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Google+ and YouTube.I took a leading role in creating much of the artwork that appeared on the company's website; from homepage designs and product spreads to blog posts and animated trend pages.I assisted in the building and design of HTML emails and press releases, including one used for the launch of Lipsy's 'Kardashian Kollection'.Another key part of my job was retouching and recolouring photos of both products and models. I was heavily involved with Print design too; creating posters, product brochures for Next, signs for in-store and events such as Vogue Fashion Night Out. I designed Google Affiliate banners and competition apps for Facebook.I learnt a great deal about presentation, typography, web design, coding and creating inspiring designs.
