Within this role, I managed my own caseload of 55+ Illinois State University students of all grade levels. I created academic plans for each student on my caseload and met with each on a one-on-one basis. As an Academic Peer Advisor Leader, I served as a mentor for the other Peer Advisors in the office and hosted weekly meetings with the team to cover various training topics regarding academic advising. As each semester began, I worked with my team of Academic Peer Advisor Leaders and supervisors to plan the guest speakers, training material, and advising content for the semester. Overall, this position has taught me so much about management and customer service when meeting with so many students and serving as a mentor to other Peer Advisors.

As an Internet Marketing Intern, I worked with the Affiliate team for my ten-week program. A key task I worked on was tracking client metrics and analyzed data to make informed marketing decisions. I also explored relationships with different affiliate partners to meet and exceed the client's business goals. When working with clients, I assisted on client-facing proposals for weekly discussions on performance goals and metrics. This internship allowed me to gain knowledge on the various channels of digital marketing through one-on-one meetings and training, with an emphasis on affiliate marketing.
